What is Just Dance Plus?
Just Dance Plus is the subscription service for the game Just Dance 2023. Please note that it doesn’t work with older versions of the game, like Just Dance 2022 or earlier. Older games require a different subscription called Just Dance Unlimited. Plus is exclusively for Just Dance 2023. With the subscription, you get access to lots of additional songs and dance routines. Please note that you need the base game Just Dance 2023 to use this content.
What are the benefits of Just Dance+?
The game Just Dance 2023 contains 40 songs. A subscription to Just Dance Plus gives you access to a large ever-expanding catalogue currently featuring over 230 songs plus almost 40 alternate versions of normal songs. An alternate is a different, usually more difficult, dance routine based on the same song. Ubisoft is constantly adding songs to Just Dance+ with each new Season, so we can expect those numbers to grow in the future.
What are Just Dance Plus Seasons?
Seasons are themed events that are launched in the Just Dance+ subscription. They last roughly 2 months and introduce new songs and playlists into the mix. The songs usually stay in the library, while the playlists usually only last a few weeks. So far 4 seasons have already been completed, and the fifth one is in progress.
How do I play Just Dance on Xbox series X|S?
Older versions of Just Dance used the Kinect peripheral on Xbox One to record player’s movements. Since Kinect is not available for Series X|S, now Just Dance 2023 relies on a freely downloadable smartphone app. Players link the app to their console and use their smartphone to track their movements and follow the dance routines. Isn’t that convenient? It’s also very good to take advantage of the online multiplayer feature, that lets you play with friends all over the world.
